The exciting prelude to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race finally came to a conclusion with Alan Brierty’s Limit winning the Rolex Trophy Rating Series held over the past week.The 6 races did not only prove to be competitive grounds but also showcased the preparation of the teams which are getting ready to participate for the ultimate showdown in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race.The Rolex Sydney Hobart Race is scheduled to be held on the 26th of December, 2009.While Limit won the overall Rolex Trophy Rating Series Jacques Lemans Mens Watch GU148N-ABT06C, Michael Hiatt’s Living Doll won the sixth and final race.Limit was seen tailing Living Doll throughout the race and finally ranked in on the second position which gave the team the much needed point to get ahead of its closest rival Stephen Ainsworth Loki.The final scoreboard for the 2009 Rolex Trophy Rating Series closed with Alan Brierty’s Limit putting up a score of 9.0.Giving Limit tough competition was Stephen Ainsworth’s Loki which put a final score of 10.0 on the scoreboard and settled for second place while Rob Hanna’s Shogun came in third with a point total of 14.0.Alan Brierty could be seen smiling again as securing fourth place in the fifth race cost him the lead; however, grabbing the second position helped him regain his position and win the overall series.The 6 races witnessed competition basically between the three Ls, i.e.Limit, Loki and Living Doll.Limit took the lead in the very first race of the Rolex Trophy Rating Series while Loki followed in on second position and Living Doll came in third Jacques Lemans Mens Watch GU148N-ABT06C.
